Server & character creation issues have been fixed for about two weeks.

Also, in response to the easy gameplay, wait until you get to around level 30... the challenge ramps up considerably, both in dungeons and in job quests.

And for endgame... oomph. Try looking up the video of a group wiping repeatedly at the first part of Behemoth's Coil.
