Deat with bank on phone. Other stuff still to do. bbl

My game is uploading right now, I'm eager to play. However, last night I got an email from newegg verifying a purchase.

Um, didn't make the purchase. So, play the game or do the whole change credit cards everywhere.

During maintenece last nigh, I did initiate a Fraud Alert. I did change some passwords. I did get on a chat (and saved it) from a Newegg rep. So I've done the preliminary steps. However, if I have to replace my
credit card that's a mess, cause I'll have to carry around cash or use checks.

I want to play and real life is just pulling me back.

At least I can play (if game lets me in) until the banks open.

Cheers!

Damn, any time my CC's run into trouble, there's a number on the back to call and it gets sorted out in minutes. They usually have one on the way within a day or two...

Internet Banking, Telephone Banking or 24 hour helpline? The longer you sit around, the more time someone has to rack up purchases on your Credit Card if it's been compromised..

Don't know how it works in the US but in Australia you can either get a free credit card which exposes you to the actions of dodgy individuals or you can get a "gold" or "Platinum" card that come with additional protections. Such protections come with a price tag but the benefits include full insurance against fraudulent activity etc.

In this day and age - even when money is tight, that insurance is worth it.

Anytime there's been fraud on my CC here, the company has called immediately and cancelled the charges. Never seems to be much of a hassle.

All credit cards have those protections in place in the US. Our Gold/Platinum cards have other perks (I have the Gold Delta card so I get on board the plane first.)

Have your bank setup a fraudulent activity protection system.

IT can be an inconvenience even to you but it helps a lot. As an example with Suntrust, if they notice you spending a lot(1,000 seems to be their red flag limit) in a short period, they will shut your card down, until you call and verify that it is really you that is using your card. All charges will remain pending up to that point.

That's no good Ghost! Get your card sorted. That happened to me about a year ago and my bank took care of me. You will be ok, but RL takes priority. We will all have this game for a very long time. When you get back up, if you need any help in dungeons to catch you up, and I'm on, I can help ya.

You could go to: https://site.ultimatepay.com/

SE says that you can use this payment application to buy Crysta... perhaps you can find a way to pay Ultimate Pay in a different way then your credit/debit card?

Perhaps Checking Account Number... check it out to see if that works.

Edit: Their website says you can buy their cards at Wal-Mart and Best Buy... so if you can get some cash out of the bank you can go buy a card there.
