My friends weren't able to get on early today, so I made a character on Ultros.
Needless to say, I was not pleased by the community.
Not only was there rampant erotic role play in multiple channels, but the meme spam was relentless. Here's a typical /shout channel on Ultros...

at Gridania the chat was perfectly fine, people talk alot but its mostly harmless noob questions like "where can i find arbor buzzard" and stuff like that

Then again, just out of college I lived with 3 guys who were 4channers. My husband is a 4channer. (These days he goes through a VPN and incognito though, to be on the safe side.) I don't hang out on 4chan, but I speak the lingo.
If that kind of shout chat bothers you, perhaps you would be better off on a role play server.

Can say that I really didn't see any of that, although I hadn't really sat down in any one zone for an extended period of time either. But doesn't seem like anything too awful that won't die down soon enough.

All I know is you're a magnet of negativity. It doesn't matter where you go, you find the most negative instance of the game and report it over and over and over again. Please give it a rest. If you don't like the game, quit, and do us all a favor.

You are a troll and crybaby. Why not set an example. You only seen a small percent of the server. Most people I interacted with are all helpful and friendly on this server.

I played for about 5 hours before the maintenance on Ultros and the only annoying shouts were a couple people who were trolling the whole "rage quit" mentality over dying during simple quests. Most people were just talking normally around Ul'dah.

We don't even know what server this was taking from let alone time frame. Being this is Killua125 talking here we should know better than to read his post. This is probably him in the screen shot acting like a little school boy thinking he is all cool and stuff just to troll on the forums.

You'll find a lot of QQ talk in Western Thanalan, but I haven't run into anything like that during my time in the game. And honestly, even if people are putting stuff like that in /sh, who cares? Why does it warrant a thread complaining about it on day 1? Why am I here? Is this real life?
