The game seems to be getting the right attention this time around. Not sure if everyone is familiar with this site, but I've been following it for years.

Oh wow, that site is still around. Quite a story, they originally were the Unofficial Squaresoft Homepage and for a while the Official Squaresoft USA website. I forgot all about it, thanks for the link.

As for the responsiveness on PS3, in my experience I've seen sometimes a few seconds of delay for skill activation in busy FATEs but nothing game-breaking. I didn't progress very far in the game though. AOE attacks however, pretty much always hit me even if I get out of the circle with perfect timing.

Yes, it feels at least as responsive as a game from over a decade ago Smiley: sly

I've tested this repeatedly, it's pretty much the same or similar in multiple areas. There's a certain, but minor, delay in responsiveness and it's easily anticipated. Given that there's a fairly large charge time on those kind of skills, as well as most skills being stunnable, it can be compensated for by the players until it is addressed.

You can't anticipate where someone is going to be if your only cue is visual and it displays incorrectly. There is really no way to tell if someone is in range of your spell, nor can you tell which way you need to move to get close enough to them for you to be able to cast. It may be something that doesn't impact play to the point that you wipe on every encounter, but it's still something that needs to be tightened up before launch.

Its personal preference and all, but yes we need to educate WoW players that this is OUR game, these are Characters and not Toons. Time to beat that into them one at a time.

I'll leave that argument alone for now. Too many different conditions people are claiming and the NDA prevents actual evidence of many of them in action (some motion gifs confirm what I'm talking about. I've never seen a client to client motion problem.)

I will go as far as to say I'm not confident it will be fixed by launch. I could be wrong but I wonder how much it will actually impact launch if I'm right. Again, I do not believe it is crippling. My observations is that the bulk of the players don't even really notice it enough for it to be crippling to the launch window. But I do want it fixed ASAP. We'll see.

At the end of a Brayflox run in P3 we were approaching the final boss. Everyone was ready to go except the healer. When we asked what was up the healer said they suddenly couldn't see/target me. Had been fine the whole run up to that point. That was nice to know right before a boss fight.Smiley: frown
