Apparently the image everyone has been referring to with 7 days of early access was rumored to have been Photoshopped by somebody... and this announcement from the devs basically confirms this.

I'm sorry, but that's not a solid conclusion.

It wasnt photoshopped, You could tell because photoshop leaves a distinct grey outline and blurring of the edges. This is clearly a case of someone in advertising not sending out the preapproved message.

I use photoshop on a daily basis and have never had a problem with a grey outline or the blurring of edges. Do you rasterize your fonts on low quality setting or do a lot of cutting/pasting or something? If so, there are much more efficient ways to use the tools. The whole point of photoshopping something is to make it look like you DIDN'T photoshop it.

In my website design classes I learned most pros don't even bother with photoshop, they consider it amateur. Now if you want to claim its altered then thats a possibility, but the pros avoid photoshop due to aforementioned issues.

In my experience, any time a bunch of people on the internet are sure that something is photo shopped, it's never photo shopped.

Quoting some randoms on reddit arguing about whether or not it was shopped isn't useful information, IMO. Randoms also think the moon landing is fake and 9/11 is a conspiracy by the American government.

People can go their entire lives without having an insightful thought or idea, and still think they are decoding secrets that no one else understands.
