If you don't want to get something, don't. Dunno why you have to be such a douche about it. I don't walk into every store I see something that I feel is expensive and proceed to berate them. I just move on. Is that so hard for you to do?

I have $2 in change in my car collecting dust right now lol.

Seriously man, whip up an iOS version, and I'll download it post haste!

Me too, I'll buy it right now if it's on iOS.

If I knew more about Objective C I'd offer to help port it but frankly a lot of it is still a mystery to me.

Yup, there sure are a lot of iOS users out there. I've never done any iOS development, but if I can fit it in between work and school over the next couple months, and if there's still a need for an app like mine on iOS I'll give it a shot at least. Plus it's a bigger monetary investment for me to publish it. :X

I completely understand as well. Most people don't get how much actual work goes into development.
  • $99/store license iOS/AndroidWP8
  • Hours/day, A good JavaScript developer can get upwards of $90/hour. WPF/C# about the same (contract/self employed)
  • Then there's server costs if you host a web app
  • Time away from family, yourself, the actual game if it happens to be for a game

I've at least put in over 3500 hours on my app, site and hundreds more for my work. For free.

Don't listen to anyone complaining about $2.00. Now you app... does it work on Galaxy Nexus Google edition??? :)

Like Final Fantasy XI, the game specs will be extremely high for the time, but in about 5 years, an average machine can run it on max settings with little to no issues. Tanaka also expressed interest in making a benchmark program available.

As long as it's running Android 2.3.* or higher, you bet it does. :)

Don't listen to any complaints about the $2 Raynault, as far as I'm concerned you're a freaking saint for making ARRstatus.com and this app.

Thanks!

Nice app. You have my support. Any way to add a best average ping search to the app?

That sounds like a good idea to me. I'll keep it in mind when I start to expand upon the app's features. :)

Interesting... would that help in deciding which server to play on when you're first starting?

Beat me to it. Or you might add a sustained ping test; user lets app collect pings over 10 minutes or whatever, averages them, and spits out a report. Something like that would help me pick my server for launch :-)

Edit: just saw Hairspray's comment above mine. It would totally help make my server decision, personally.
