So beautiful. Music in FFXI helped immerse me into the world. I still to this day listen to XIs soundtrack, and XIVs music is having the same effect.

I think the most suiting, and my favorite zone music is Gridanias. The theme goes so well with the beauty of the zone. Favorite zone music, but I will always be an Uld'ah kind of guy hehe!

What's your favorite music from 2.0?

I can't say yet. But I do know I like all of it. Its much better than 1.0 too. I felt there wasn't enough music and unless it was Moggle King, it wasn't good. lol Ask me again in a year.

2.0s music suits the environment so much better, for sure!

It is hard to choose a favorite because it's all so wonderful, but Gridania takes the cake for me.

I will always remain loyal to the Immortal Flames, but the horns in Uld'ahs theme give me a headache sometimes.

Your post link, it was edited out. But I found the battle theme song. Thanks though!
Love 2.0 battle music > 1.0 which was abysmal

I actually play FFXI and XIV because of how good the music is. It's half the entertainment for me.

YES! The F.A.T.E. music is bad ***! I wonder if the gathering leve music is as good as 1.0s. I loved that song, that and the goobue song.

I like the Ul'dah remix to the battle theme. Leves theme is good too.

FATE music so far, for sure. Part of the Limsa theme reminds me of a certain classical piece I can't put my finger on at the moment.

The Boss Battle music that was in the first benchmark is definitely near the top.

There were other songs inside of the game files that I also enjoy, but I think music is still off limits to share. :(

I enjoy Thanalan's music quite a bit, and the boss battle music fromt he dungeons is pretty cool, although I think that is from 1.0.

Let me find out if Nail of the Heavens is in ARR and I will certainly have a favorite. XD

I'd also put Thanalan's music near the top. I think #1 for me is when you win a party quest such as Sastasha, the victory music is the best remix of the fanfare tune I've ever heard.

I do enjoy Gridania's theme a lot, but at times it reminds me of the Shire. The battle theme reminds me of 007.

Thanalan's area music is my current favorite. All of the music just fits so well. It pulls you in to your surroundings and enhances your overall experience! A couple of times I found myself just standing still taking everything in. Truly a testament to how much music and ambient sounds can impact a player's experience!
