Having only had characters in Gridania and Ul'dah thus far, I have to give the edge to Ul'dah. I find it a lot easier to traverse than Gridania, though I find Gridania's aetherite crystals better positioned for inner-city travel...

Just made it to Limsa Lominsa last test phase, and it was just as cool as I thought it would be: an ocean-side fishing town full of laid back people and pirates. Definitely will be starting there come phase 4.
