Really like the new beastmen (and the portrayals of the primals). My only complaint is that Kobolds look too much like Goblins.

Ya. Ixal and Sahagins look like they share the same architecture as well, but at least they look different enough.

Elmder Fudd: Oh Brunhilde, you're so lovely...

Bugs Bunny: Yes, I know it.

("What's Opera, Doc?" is quite possibly my favorite of the Chuck Jones Looney Tunes. Huh, apparently a thousand animators agreed in 1994.)

I just realized, Shiva isn't shown here. I know we've seen models for her, I wonder what beastmen she will be associated with...

Yeah, I was wondering the same. Seems strange that they haven't released it.

I don't know about Shiva, but I'd bet Ramuh has a soft spot for these little critters.

I am going to assume these will all be summons. So confirmed but not shown in the recent update to the web site Cait Sith, Siren, Shiva, Odin and Carbuncle. Any others?

Now I remember what the Kobolds remind me of: Hobbes from Fable 3. Also, I too find myself unsure of my feelings regarding Ifrit's image. My first experience with him was in FFVIII, when he was buff, more wolf- or bear-like. He had that red fiery mane, a snout and those awesome horns. He could also bend himself in half to pound that meteor into your face!

Yeah, if you lit one of those Amalj'aa on fire and put horns on his head it would be closer to the 'typical' Ifrit I think.

That being said, I don't dislike the Maelbolgia-ish Ifrit either :)

Good King Moggle Mog isn't up there either. He had a damn awesome Mog Theme remix battle theme though!

#44REDACTED, Posted: Apr 27 2013 at 1:25 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I know they need to do anything they can to build hype but I wish developers would leave the bosses to be found in-game, and not show off every single little thing.

Whats the point, its not a single player game its an MMO its normal to show the bosses.

I agree its stupid in single player to show off all your bosses, but in an MMO who cares?I actually want to see the bosses there. When you get into a dungeon for the first time and you are the only one that hasn't done it do you say to the others please don't tell me any tactics? Of course not.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance did this too. For some reason, they advertised every single boss fight in their trailers.

I get the feeling no matter what they do you'd find a way to **** on it Smiley: rolleyes
