Greetings!!! So, I haven't been following the news / updates lately... and I have never done anything since I cancelled my 1.0 subscription a long... long time ago till now.
On one of the information pages it says
Open Beta Dates - August 17th - August 19th for New Users (weren't in Phase 3)
Are the new users here referring to those who pre ordered the new ARR ?
Or does it include those 1.0 players who have never participated in the beta too?

'New Users' is referring to people who were not in the previous phases of beta testing. This includes you regardless of whether or not you played 1.0 as long as you have not tested any previous phases of ARR beta.

It's an open beta, in about 30 minutes (2:00am PDT) the Beta Registration page should be up and you can get your self a code (PS3) or an email (PC) for the Phase 4 Open beta this weekend.
Go here: http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/?lang=en
Press the top button under News.When the Phase 4 officially starts you can register for the code.
If you played in 1.0, you may be able to just get in without registering.

i just logged into my square management account and this is what it says... getting a bit worried lol.
(in the past when i login into the square enix account management it would display my registered FF13 and FF14... but now it only shows 13 D:)
